Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Windsor County, Vermont. On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
