Urgent requirement: confectioner (Georgia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Charlton County, Georgia. The job is at an in-store supermarket bakery. Requirements: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving On the job you will handle: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Score the top of loaves before baking • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
