Dough maker — City of Norton

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dough maker in City of Norton, Virginia. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
