Packaging machine operator — East Sussex

Now hiring: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in East Sussex, England. Day to day you will top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper. Ideal candidate: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred.
