Great opportunity: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Dutchess County, New York. Day to day you will dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; check walls for plumb and level as you go; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. What we are looking for: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
