Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Day to day you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
