Fire and safety officer — Meade County

Join our team: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Meade County, Kansas. You will work in a warehouse and logistics yard. Your main tasks: • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges Ideal candidate: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
