Production welder — Keokuk County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production welder in Keokuk County, Iowa. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day to day you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
