Now hiring: rebar foreman (New Mexico)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $19 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
