Conventional mill operator wanted in Fairbanks North Star Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces You will deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square.
