Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Habersham County, Georgia. The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • A good head for heights for tower crane work Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
