Vacancy available: we are hiring a meat cutter in Missaukee County, Michigan. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Season and marinate meat on request • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
