Urgent requirement: we are hiring a construction mazdoor in Alameda County, California. The role involves: • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Requirements: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
