Great opportunity: we are hiring a laundry presser in Marion County, West Virginia. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves: • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
