Gas installation technician • Neath Port Talbot, Wales

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Neath Port Talbot, Wales. The job is in a gas distribution network. What we are looking for: • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day to day you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
