Gtaw welder wanted in Loudoun County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Loudoun County, Virginia. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Your main tasks: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
