Earthmoving plant operator wanted in Edmunds County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Edmunds County, South Dakota. You will be based at a plant hire yard. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery On the job you will handle: • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Check for underground cables and services before digging At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
