Vacancy available: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. The job is on an industrial coating line. Requirements: • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting Your main tasks: • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper Full-time, day shift.
