Concrete shuttering carpenter — Calderdale

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Calderdale, England. The job is at an infrastructure construction site. Day-to-day duties: • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Pay around £2,650 per month, based on your experience.
