Sand plant operator • Currituck County, North Carolina

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Currituck County, North Carolina. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant.
