Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Chowan County, North Carolina. The role involves set up and change stamping dies and tooling; record output and downtime on the production sheet; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Part-time with flexible hours.
