Now hiring: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Jefferson County, Florida. You will work in a mirror and glass showroom. What we are looking for: • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves The role involves clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; install toughened and laminated safety glass; cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
