Now hiring: we are hiring a double glazing installer in Floyd County, Virginia. You will work on a high-rise facade project. What we are looking for: • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter On a typical shift you will glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film; measure window and door openings and order glass to size. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
