Tyre service technician • Newport County, Rhode Island

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Newport County, Rhode Island. The job is at a car service centre. You will demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies. Requirements: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Basic record-keeping and customer-facing skills • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
