Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Pickett County, Tennessee. Your main tasks: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
