Vacancy available: gas pipe fitter (Missouri)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Clinton County, Missouri. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious The role involves: • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
