Tower crane operator • Alexander County, North Carolina

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Alexander County, North Carolina. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Strong attention to safety and load limits On a typical shift you will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
