Reinforcement steel fixer • Afikpo North, Ebonyi State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Afikpo North, Ebonyi State. You will work on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench.
