Immediate opening: we are hiring a safety officer in Gbako, Niger State. The job is on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements 6+ years on the tools preferred.
