Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Lewis County, New York. The job is on a high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
