We are recruiting: we are hiring a mason's helper in Bristol Bay Borough, Alaska. You will work on a commercial building project. The role involves cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio 5+ years on the tools preferred.
