Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Washington County

Join our team: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Washington County, Minnesota. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. Your main tasks: • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Requirements: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
