Urgent requirement: confectioner (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a confectioner in City of Galax, Virginia. The job is at a café with an on-site bakery. Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes The role involves prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
