Mobile crane operator — Juneau City and Borough

Now hiring: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You will work at a shipbuilding yard. Day-to-day duties: • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Current medical and eyesight certificate On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
