GMAW welder • Calhoun County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Calhoun County, Texas. Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
