Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Douglas County, Oregon. You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Requirements: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
