Bar bender and fixer • Girei, Adamawa State

Now hiring: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Girei, Adamawa State. Day-to-day duties: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Overtime paid at a premium rate.
