Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The role involves tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. What we are looking for: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
