Immediate opening: shuttering carpenter (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in White County, Indiana. You will work on a residential tower site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing On the job you will handle: • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
