Stainless steel welder • Kura, Kano State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Kura, Kano State. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 1+ years on the tools preferred. Meals and transport allowance provided.
