What we are looking for: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Your main tasks: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
