Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Washita County, Oklahoma. The job is at a power plant. Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces 3+ years on the tools preferred.
