What we are looking for: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change Day-to-day duties: • Punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket) • Check back during the meal and handle special requests • Coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar • Explain the day's specials and recommend dishes • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
