Argon welding operator wanted in Washita County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Washita County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
