Quality assurance assistant • Bingham County, Idaho

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Bingham County, Idaho. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems Day-to-day duties: • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
