Tile installer • Ontario County, New York

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile installer in Ontario County, New York. The job is at a busy tiling site. Requirements: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Day-to-day duties: • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
