Shuttering charge hand — Washington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Washington County, Kentucky. You will work on a bridge and flyover project. Day to day you will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. What we are looking for: • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
