Gas metal arc welder — Columbia County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Columbia County, Pennsylvania. On the job you will handle: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently 1+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
