Toolroom milling operator — Noble County

Join our team: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Noble County, Indiana. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience Your main tasks: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
