Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Oneida County, Wisconsin. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On a typical shift you will maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
